I've been playing with a set of door panels. They came from a `69 with the woodgrain inserts. I don't like woodgrain, but do like nice door panels. Sooooo..... I started playing.
Here's the unmolested original panels:
Now I purchase a roll of fake carbon fiber.... and before this turns into a gang rape, I was NOT looking for a "ricey" look here. Just something original. Besides, I wanted to hide the rear arm rest openings. I still have to cut the window handle openings.
I think it's understated enough that I won't catch a beating among my fellow car club members. And in a previous post you saw I was working on white gauge faces. Like I said in the topic, wadda ya think?
