Professionally COMPLETELY rebuilt 1969 steel crank 440 (improved cam over stock-not a race motor), balanced, Eddy intake, new 6qt. B/E oil pan...never fired, still on the stand. AND fully rebuilt 727 (B&M std. valve body). never installed.

I had the combo built for an E body project, car sold, kept motor. $4800 for both, prefer not to split them up. ($3900 / $900). In NJ, can deliver to Forward Air on a pallet. $125 to box it up and deliver it to the terminal in PHiladelphia.

I've got all the part numbers at home, I can get you those later tonight if you wish. But I know that the stock Chryler Imperial - 1969 440 / 4 barrel numbers are: 350 HP / 480 ft.lb Torque, 10.1:1. This motor is +.030, improved Crower cam. Fully balance for the new pistons (forged). Edelbrock performer intake. All new valves, springs, keepers...everything in the OEM heads.
New HV oil pump, B/E 7 qts. oil pan and PU, new waterpump too, of course. Valve covers are OEM steel...nothing fancy. The motor is ready to install/prime/run.

I was at Mike's shop the other day and saw that 440 up close and personal. Looks like a really great engine and well worth the money he's asking. With all the machine work, parts and labor that was put into it, for that price, someone will get some nice drivable power.

Looks like you're still looking for a motor? I'm in West Plains, Mo 65775 and have 3 choices for ya. One is a running very well when pulled from a 73 Newport, 400, $800+ shipping. The other is a 71 440 30 over pump gas motor with about 1000 miles max. Maybe not that many. 9.6 comp. Very strong and is in my duster as we speak. $5500. The other is a 68 440 30 over with lots of goodies even the DQ intake with carbs. 12 plus comp. I'll get some pics up if interested. 0 miles. New New New. Never fired. $7500. You can't build these motors for this unless you did it all yourself.

Im not too sure where your at but I do have a complete 62 383 thats just been collecting dust for the last 7 years. the motor is fitted with the 4 barrel carter carb, edelbrock 383torker intake and i forget what all was done inside but it ran when we put the original motor back into the 62 300. i live right outside of san francisco so if you live here in cal ill let you take it at 600.00 or reasonable offer!
