Flex plate don't have weights...torque convertors have the weights. There are several different size weight on the convertors...you need to find out which one is correct for your engine. Good luck!

I have a 360 magnum with a 904 and I believe you need B & M # 10241. This place shows one in stock. Autopartsdealer.com 866-424-7000 cost $ 168.56

I have a 360 magnum stroker with a 727 and I got my weighted flexplate from B&M through Summit or Jegs. Much better than weighting a convertor.
There is a difference between the weight size of the 360 LA and the 360 Magnum, so be sure you're getting the one for the magnum, when you order.

Duster, thank you for the information. I am so confused right now I don't know whether to s**t or go Blind. I am mating a Mopar Performance Magnum 360 crate, year of block 2002 to a 904 that is currently on my 318. So if I am understanding you correctly I need to get the weighted flex plate for a 1996 and up 727, right. That will work with my 904? Just for your information I have an after market torque converter, 3000 stall.

Thanks I will try them. Summit also list it on their web but I call and they do not have it. I hope these folks do. Crossing my fingers.

He's talking about AFTERMARKET flex plates, and yes, people make 'em

Here's one now:

I can see why it's messing you up. I don't know enough about transmissions, flexplates, and convertors to really help you. I don't know if a 727 flexplate will work in a 904. ? ? ?

The problem is that you have a 904.

Going to B&M's site on weighted flexplates, they don't list one for a 904 for the years 93-99. They list only the 727.

According to my paper work that came with my magnum; NOTE: older 360 external balance is different from magnum 360, AND these older parts CAN NOT be used.

Then it says: older 360's are 1971 thru 1992.

Production magnum 360 engines are 1993 thru 2002. ( 2002 is when this instruction paper was updated and written )

I use the 10242 flexplate, but I have the 727.

You'll have to find out if the 727 and the 904 flexplates are interchangeable.

If not you'll have to go with a weight kit from Chrysler and have it welded to your TQ convertor and then use a standard flexplate that fits your 904.

At least that's what it seems to me.

Magnum weight kit # is ( P5249843 )

A68DART360 may be on to something, I don't see that # listed 10241
on Jegs or B&M.

Please let us know what you find out.
