Was there a 225 super six motor released in 1973? in the US, or exported to the Americas?

Not a "Super Six" per se, but the 225 was available with a 2 bbl for export starting in '68 I believe.

That car is not a factory 2 bbl, that is an air cleaner from a f/m/j super six car. Most likely a volare or aspen.

i wonder what the air cleaner looked like on a '73 2bbl slant?

Regardless, the car in question didn't come with one. Decodes as a 225 with a 1 barrel carb, and it was built in Michigan

The 2bbl was common in South American and Marine applications from the late 60s on. Didn't show up on American cars until 77

The '67-'75 export-only Slant-6 2bbl setup used a plain round air cleaner without a snorkel. Large diameter, low profile. See it in Australian trim here. It also used a Carter BBD carburetor with an integral heat-tube choke (see here) and the same exhaust manifold that was used on the '69 US (and '60-'69 Canada) cars with the throttle plate anti-ice system.

E24 is the plain, ordinary, standard 1bbl 225 engine, not any kind of special version.
