Water filter/softener....

Anybody use something like this for washing there vehicles? When I lived in AZ we had sh&tty city water and had a softener in the house. We have a well now and even though the pump has a screen on it we still get some grit out of the faucets.....and a crap load of minerals.....Will have a softener at some point in the house but the hydrants in the yard are on a separate run.....

Kineteco make the best. Has a flow meter and no electrical timer with 2 rosen beds so you never have raw water coming out. I had 1 in VA on shallow well and never had a problem in 20 years. IMO
