We lost a FABO member….RIP LocuMob

From Scott's sister on his FB...

For those that don't know, Scott died unexpectedly on December 18th while at work. Our family is still grieving, and we appreciate your posts with your kind words, memories, and tributes. It is comforting to know that Scott was loved and appreciated by so many of you.

We do plan to have a memorial for Scott. We are thinking about a Celebration of Life in July, for what would have been his 50th birthday, in MN. If you'd like to attend, continue to follow this page as I'll be sure to post here when we have details. Alternatively, feel free to PM me and I'll add you to the list of people to contact.

Please keep sharing those stories for us all to enjoy during this difficult time.

~Amy (Scott's sister)

My condolances to you for the loss of your longtime friend. I know this is not the thread for this, but I need you to PM me about the Valiant trim parts. Thanks. Don.

Who? Hit "reply" on the members last post. Is there a reason why you can't PM him? (Whoever he is)

Haven’t been on the site in awhile and this is kinda last minute….but Scott’s celebration of life is this Saturday in Eden Prairie MN if anyone is interested, here is the event that was posted on FB, thanks.

In early November I set out to Winnebago MN from Rockford,IL with my New TowNGo R/T Durango to deliver on a promise I made to Scott - Locumob.

I arrived at his house that the family just put on the market to retrieve his crown jewel of his Dodge collection. A Canadian 1966 Dodge Monaco 383 4 speed car. Here's how it looked when I arrived.

Here's Joel helping get the car loaded. He's one of Scotts longtime friends and helped the family handle all of Scott's belongings and the Mopars.

Since having the car home, I have gotten it to run, and confirmed it goes forward and reverse.

On New Years day. I set out again for Minnesota to retrieve part 2 of the Monaco package.

I remember roughly what Scott wanted this Dart to be. I'm going to do my best to make it reality with probably some personal touches I'm sure he would approve of.

His 71 Monaco Wagon.

Loaded up and headed back home with this 66 Monaco 500 - to be used as a donor for the 4 speed as Scott intended.

I stopped at a gas station near Scotts parents house in Minneapolis and grabbed these pics. I had to stop in and see them to handle paperwork, we ended up visiting for just shy of a couple hours reminiscing about Scotty.

I will be updating Scotts Dart thread when I get the Dart home. I am also keeping his C body threads active as I build the 4 speed car.

Miss ya Scott I will do my best to keep your cars stories going brother!

I started a gofundme to raise funds to build Locumob AKA Scotts 66 4 speed car. I am planning to take this car on the power tour in June and need as much help from the Mopar Brotherhood as I can get!
