Here we go again :angry7: I live in North east Arkansas and a few members are close by. It was this time last year when this happened
Our electricity was out for 6 day and I put Victoria's nest in the perfect spot.
Here is what my drive way my yard on the hill looked like last year after a ice storm :bootysha: Poor tree's

I have extra food, water, gas for the generator and candles
Three new oil burning lamps and a new deck of cards :-D
Treva's car has a full tank of gas and hoping for more snow then rain this time, They are calling for 5 to 8'' here and if you live here in Arkansas you know we only get maybe two ta three snows a year and some times nun...

Thank you bud, We will be fine 8) I just thought I would start this thread before our cable gets knocked out. I don't think I should run my computer off the generator

I cooked for 12 people last year because I had the grill and I know how to cook :-D I heated water and treated the wife to a Hot tub a couple times and after 6 day she and I needed a couple :toothy10:

Creed clearing the road so we could get to town, Electric crews was busy from three states here so we took things in our own hands.

Dang,we have been getting lots of rain,but it has dried up and got colder. I think we will be in for more snow too.

We have been getting plenty of freezing rain in Oklahoma. They are saying that there are about 70,000 people without electric at the moment.

Southwest Oklahoma with about 38,000 out is not supposed to get the power totally back on until Feb. 1.

I40 has been shut down in places and also I44 is shut down southwest of OKC.

It's a little after 10 here Mike and i thought about going outside and looking to see if anything is falling here but no need to look. I see cars running down the road in front of the house like theywere shot out of a gun and i dont think they could do that if it were slick. We're suppose to get 6-12 inches of snow an dthe ice is to be down by you guys. Hang in fo rthe ride. I hauled my backhoe home from a job so i could move snow if needed.

I agree it is a good time to get back to the old way of life :-D

This stuff is being feed by a big front out of Texas with a tun of moisture Leanna and will not stop till maybe Saturday morning. 27f here.
