Anyone have some recommendations for replacement door and window weather stripping for a 1966 Dart GT?? Thanks a lot...
1966 dodge dart Beltline weatherstrip
are called cat whiskers and go in the door to glass seal. cost about 139.00 almost everywhere
door weather stripping can be bought in colors and run between 120.00 to 159.00.

BUT if you can get away with black the just get some chevy S-10 or 1st gen dodge ram truck door seals. (45.00 to 80.00) what I ended up using was 1992 dodge ram truck and I had enough that it would have done a sedan instead of the convertible or hardtop
1978-1993 Dodge Pickup/Ramcharger Door Seals
about 55.00
the s-10 weather stripping was cheaper by a bit but took forever(4 months with the doors closed) to "crush into shape and let the door close naturally.
My interior is Black..I bought the Ram weather strip..Doors are very hard to close right now. Trailbeast..still working on that list on my Dart..Been busy on Family matters.Man, you just never know when or where gold nuggets like this are going to pop up.

I think that would be ok with me (probably) because I would adjust the doors tighter for awhile and then back off again later.
When you think you are ready let me know.
I can't promise anything of course, but we'll see.
When I need incentive I look a pics like this, of what the car could be.

There is a weather strip/ seal on the outside of the vent window '65 gt( about 15" long)....any idea who has those? Thanks.mine(the dodge ram ones) took 6 months total for the passengers side to crush down to the correct fit. I did re-adjust the door a bit after it fit correctly. I put the new ones (correct for the year/model colored ones ,He bought from year one) on a friends 65 and they took just about as long to crush into shape. The dodge ram seals look just the same if not better fitting as his for 1/3rd the price. When I compared both sets I found the bulb on the new ones is a bit larger and thicker than the original on both types of seals. the chevy s-10 seals have a little bit bigger bulb and took longer to crush into shape than the dodge ram.

yup, they go down the door a bit also and about 1 inch from the top. you can see in the lower hardtop vent the excess laying over the other vent that goes on the door covering the holes that mount the vent.Do you have a pic of where these strips go?
