We bought it in the blind. Not knowing what it was. Just knew it was built around 30 years ago for a pulling truck. His father died and they had it on Face book.

It was run back then and made a couple Dyno pulls. That is all he knew. When we went there He saw father and son builder. and basically gave it to us.

When we got home we set the enderle injection on for pictures and then tore it down 4.50 stroke 4.50 bore Stage V rockers with indy heads. Everything is like new. Billet crank flat face achohol crank ,H-beam rods . Gear drive, Steff's Dry sump. two style intakes.

Cool looking engine for the valiant

There is NEVER a deal like that around here. 'Course you guys out there have a bit more population density You are not that far from Philly. They have only 500k less people that the whole state of Idaho, LOL

It is going in this Valiant. We already removed everything off the rails for a straight axle with a vega steering box. We were going to put a mega block with a tunnel ram in . Then he bought a B1. Now its getting this Hemi. You all would not believe the weight savings tearing all the front torsion bar suspension out of it.

The light weight Demon has a pretty wild indy headed small block from the Duster that is getting a glide. The Valiant gets a liberty Hemi 4 speed with this engine. We have three other cars in trailers for the other 2 engines. He sold the Max wedge to go for this engine. Then found out he didn't need all that money after we got there.

Just way past cool. As I drool and slobber on keyboard with shear envy.

I like the new wheels. 12's and 4's I ran them on everything back in the 80's. He gave me the four Torque thrust for my new build. These wheels and tires Cost almost as much as this Hemi. I snag up what ever he discards.
