Well I went to the Deby last night and drew Heat #1 ( I always draw heat #1 WTF :x )
We entered a 86 Pontiac Bonneville, Med size car (till you pull all the plastic off of it), Man that car was small. And Id like to say.....NOT MUCH FREAKIN METAL !
Anyway, got out on the track and made 2 hits and reverse went out :x
NOW WTF :scratch: ! ! ! !
After the heat was over we got a backhoe to turn us around and I drove off the track, Got to lookin at the car and we had a tranny line blow. No wonder we couldnt move, Well we fixed it and got into consulation round but had to do A L L the hitting with the front end :cry:
Well we made it for a while but in the end a station wagon did her in but good, We took a HARD hit in the nose and I felt the firewall move under my feet. It rolled the frame back and shoved the motor into the firewall :shock: A few guys guessed that it was a 35mph hit. I never thought 35mph was fast till last night
Im still a little sore and i walk a little funny from it but man what a blast.
Next up is the 3rd worst place to enter a car in this state.
We now have a 85 Mercery Grand Marquis Colonel Park station wagon with a 302. Car runs great so we sould do better in this one.
