He probably knows the difference between a cast iron rotor and the metalurgy (spelt) parts made today. Agreed for form and function theres not 600 dollars worth of difference.
 
Look at his feedback. He's sold a bunch NOS fuel pumps for between 500 and 700 bucks. I saw a E body master cylinder he sold for 1200+ bucks. If people keep buying, he'll keep selling.
 
ANd I thought I paid to much when I bought my 69 dart tail light bezels new in the boxes for $50 each plus shipping .

But it was 1985 and they still look line new on the car since 1989
