the color says its off a 60s mild big block. is the hole the size of head bolts? they are a little like the spark plug wire brackets on the early 60s big block welded to the valve cover. but i think its not that.

Yada, post #4, mounts under the distributor, perhaps off the oil pump bolts.

From what I've read, all slants from 1970 were this color w/black accessories, truck slant's from 1972,...at least according to Walter P Chrysler Club Magazine...

thats not that accurate. mostly the 170 missing for every year after 62. my 69 valiant came with an 170 that was originally turquoise. original engine only thing that had been changed was the oil water and radiator cap (or did mopar use stant non lever caps?) when i got it at 43000 miles.
