It's been repeated so many times over the last couple hours. Learning to play it on the guitar. :glasses7:

It's pretty brutal, considering I'm missing most of the padding on the tip of my middle finger, and there's a lot of sliding and ghost notes in the song. At one time, I had a fingertip I had made from a copper plumbing cap, but I can't find it. Sure would be handy right about now. :D

The riff right after the short intro (also played on the lead guitar) is nothing but rapid sliding and ghost notes. And it repeats several times in the song. :prayer:

My first job at a German restaurant had a live band, each night as they went to intermission the zither player Sepp Diepolder (who still performs) would remain on stage and play this very difficult, up-tempo piece. Matt Andersen.

We saw him at Massey Hall in Toronto last night. He is a huge talent, incredible singer and guitar player. He performed Me & Bobbie Mcgee and you could have heard a pin drop the audience was so hushed. This is one of his own songs, So Gone Now. Incredible performance.

One more. This is the song that introduced me to Matt Andersen. I was in the kitchen with my wife having breakfast when this came on CBC2. I said who the fu** is that? Chills up and down my spine.
