We are having battery problems again, primarily because of our own stupidity/neglect. I think I killed the redtop in my Opel, gf neglected the Costco interstate in her Dakota that is rarely used, and the battery in my (ex-stolen/recovered)Z28 died of old age, I think, cause that car isn't running.
Now, the question. What battery for reasonable money have you used and been pleased with?
Gf's Costco with 3yr replacement is 4.5yrs old. I'd get her another, except nearest Costco is a hundred miles away.
I have bought five Duracells from Sam's in the last couple years, happy with them so far, and I'm leaning that way for Liz's truck. $140
Probably gonna buy a Sam's AGM for the Opel. It has the absolute WORST battery access I have ever seen. (I flat out killed the redtop. I charged it, up to 12.6, then forgot to turn off the switch. When I found it, it was 1.5v) And yes, I know how to bring back a discharged agm, this one just is not coming back.
Bought the cheapest Walmart battery I could for the Z28.
So, what do YOU like and use?

In 2017 I bought an o'riley brand battery 3 year IIRC

It is still running strong in my dart.

I put about 1000 to 2000 miles per year on it.

I like the Motorcraft MAX batteries. They have a ten year warranty with the first three free replacement and the following seven years pro rated. I have one in my truck.

Used to have a great local battery shop, built their own stuff- EPA regulated them right out of business. Darn shame.
I splurged on a $175 Interstate for the wife's Grand Cherokee, lasted about 2 1/2 years of almost daily use. Replaced it with a $120 Delco, so far so good at 2 years...
In my chit I run the cheapest Group 24 battery WalMart has, about $50 last time I got one. At 2, 3, and 4 years they're all still going strong (I hate to say that and jinx it, I may have one crap out on me tomorrow now...). Truth be told, I ran my spare lawnmower battery in my Dakota for a couple of weeks until WallyWorld got batteries back in stock. Shockingly, the little bugger never missed a beat.

I have a NAPA battery in my Ventura that is over 15 years old, still works, but is getting noticeably weaker, a Costco battery in my Bronco that is about 5 years old and still good as new, an Interstate battery in wife's car, about 2 years old, and so far so good, my Thunderbird also has a Costco battery. I'd definitely go with another Costco, but it's literally only 5 minutes from my house.

I’ll second the Napa premium line. I use them in all of my diesel powered welders, generators, and work trucks as well as my own daily. Currently the one in my truck is from 2015 and still going strong. Although I did just hear that their battery brand has changed. I think to interstate or something.

I am pretty sure NAPA has changed suppliers for their batteries, at least here in Canada, which is why I wouldn't go with them for another one.

Interesting. I hadn't heard that. My buddy runs a NAPA store so I've been running their Legend batteries for a long time.

I run a red top in the Duster and Napa Legend in the truck. So far 3 years on the Napa and around 5 on the red top. All I can say is for me, any future replacements will be AGM. I love not having to deal with corrosion!

Napa top post-7565, if battery tray is big enough. 843478-top post side post combo. Napa batteries made by East Penn. I work at Napa AND WE DO NOT HAVE INTERSTATE BATTERIES. The Canadian batts may be something other than East Penn, but I do not know about that.

To tie this off:
Bought a Duracell from Sam's for the girlfriends Dakota, and another for my Opel
I hope the Opel buy wasn't a mistake. I wanted the Duracell AGM for the Opel, but I was told they didn't make the agm in the group I needed (75)
We'll see how it does. It's replacing an 11yr old red top that was fine, till I killed it.
