What do you think it could run?

They wouldn't have blown that up if they retarded the timing more and could've made near 700hp.

Late lamented Mopar nitrous guru, Monte Smith, said exactly the same thing, they didn't pull enough timing out for that size shot.
I have a friend who picked up over a second, IN THE EIGHTH! with a Chevy v6 in a Nissan pickup, with a 200 shot (before it burned to the ground).
I don't think that kind of improvement is uncommon.

With the kit I bought, I am not going over 100 shot and I will try to be very conservative with carb jetting and timing, since I don't know all the details of the internals.

From my experience of running N for 4yrs you won't feel hardly anything with a 100 shot unless the motor is almost dead stock, the fun starts at 150. In fact when I hit my 340 with a cheater 250 shot all I really noticed was that is was all over a bit quicker, 1.4 secs to be exact.

In the video I posted that 305 Chevy made 200 more hp with a 150 shot. I get your point about a stock motor getting more out of it.
The kit I bought comes with jetting for 100,150,200 and 250 shots.
