Comp cams, mechanical roller.

summit part number.
CCA-23-702-9

int @50= 248
ext @50= 254

advertised lift
int. 576
ext. 582

LSA 110

RPM 3,000-6,500

Im think the 3,000 should work ok on the street with a 2,800 stall
but still be decent pulling on the top for the track.

Thanks again for the time and advice.

Advertised lol , what is the lift @50 ? What motor and heads again ? Intended use ? Rearend gear?
I'm sure you mention the stuff in other threads but I'm just too lazy to go look back through it all.

He has the duration @.050 up there.

IMO, that would work dead on with Edelbrock heads as cast with the listed limitations on lift. Don't know if the springs will work with the cam. It would be cool if they could.

You'll need more stall.

You'll need to upgrade the springs to run that cam..i'd go with more stall speed to with that cam something like 3800-4200

Lift at .050" ? That would be .050" lol.

Nice cam, as has been mentioned you'll need all the matching ($$) components. I wouldn't be afraid to run a 4500 converter with it.

I've got that cam in my 470 with Trick Flow heads.I don't know how it works cause its on the engine stand.im using 1.6 rocker arms.I won't be running 4500 stall.peak hp otta be around 6500

I was wanting to run a simular Lunatti cam but went with the comp.i went with the trick flow cause they have more meat than rpms and flow out of the box

It was still early, and I certainly wasn't thinking.

I drive mine on the street too, the last one flashed 5200. The one before flashed 5000.

Ive already got the Harland 1.6 roller rockers, nice dual coil springs (need to chect em for seat PSI and coil bind) , hardened retai.ers and keepers, hardened push rods and guide plates.

Gonna use next weeks overtime check to order the roller lifters..

Victor intake with a 750 DP mechanical secondarys

906 heads ported by Grom racing heads in San jose, 2.14 intake and ext 1.81 valves.

rear gear will be something like 4.10 or 4.30 still undecided.
28/15.50/16 Hoosier rear tires.

intended use, blowing the doors off my pops injected big block chevy

Yeah, The 750 is just one I got laying around. I would like to find a deal on a used 4150 series 950HP. just gotta wait and.see what pops up at the right time.

Thanls again for all the time and advice.

Hay Dave, Pushrod guide plates.

Maybe their for the BBC build, I got a large stack of parts building up...

Thanks for your help.

So Im now the proud owner of one CCA-23-702-9 camshaft, the machine work looks good, the profile and duration look lile a screamer...

anyone got a recommendation on solid roler lifters for this shaft?
im not trying to break the bank but im not looking for the cheapest set. I want rebuildable ones incase something dose ever go wrong.

This motpr build has turned into a blackhole sucking cash out of my wallet with the fury of a tornado, I figure the only thing to do os chuck cash at it till the sucking stops and the tire smoke starts!!
:)

Thanks again for all the time and advice.
