What do you think of this stroker combo?!?

Well if you just want a low rpm powerhouse, that short block might well work great. The way fuel prices are low rpms sure helps to save on fuel cost. With a 2.94 gear it could be a great everyday car, even for long trips.


I would check Ebay also. U never know what show up. I passed up a short block 360 with hypers for $800--was run for a few months. I brought the 576 Mopar HP heads thou off it.

Saving money is great, you just need luck and time to wait for it to show up.

By the way, Muscle Motors price last spring was around $3,100 before tax for a 360 stroker short block without me dropping off my own block.
 
I scour Craigslist daily searching for stuff. Two weeks ago I bought a pair of brand new Edelbrock heads for $1000. I am going to send them to IMM for a little clean up and then build my engine around them.

This is a weekend warrior type car with 3:55 gears. I plan on hammering on it.
