Hi All, last year I bought a set of TTI headers for a pretty good deal for my 1971 Demon. Right now it has some cheap headers on it which are kinda banged up and I don't like how they hang so low. I have TTI headers on my Duster and they are great. So anyway this year I ordered and received a full TTI header back exhaust system. The exhaust on the car now is kinda janky as well. I also ordered the TTI Dodge rectangle exhaust tips. What I didn't realize was the TTI exhaust tips are a different shape to the tips that are currently on the car which I believe are closer to stock appearing and are either the ones from Classic industries or accurate exhaust. The TTI tips are wider and a different shape. I prefer the current oem style tips but not sure if its worth the hassle to try and weld them up to the TTI exhaust system tail pipes since the oem tips have the hanger attached and the TTI system has the hanger on the tailpipe itself... has anyone attached more oem style tips to a TTI exhaust system? Also if you have pictures that would be awesome. Or if someone has pictures of the TTI tips on a Demon or Duster? Because I couldn't really find any good pictures online. Attached the pic below. The lower tip I am holding is the TTI tip.

Take a look here: Exhaust tip location

Yeah the opening of those tips looks much closer to the ones I currently have on the car. The opening of the TTI tips is wider and shorter and doesn't look right IMO. I wonder if anyone has a TTI exhaust system that they used OEM correct tips on and how they did it.
That would be me. Let me find my pics and I'll reply back to ya!

I can't remember where I got mine, but I know there were 2 different ones. They look identical, but the L-hook for the exhaust hanger that it mounts with is a specific distance from the end. I can measure it and get back with you if you need it.

@salami340 Here's what I did. I bought the TTI 2.5" system with down turned ends, but for the stock exhaust manifolds. I also bought a short piece of 2.25" ID steel pipe. I cut 2 or 3 inches off the old tips and cut the new 2.25" steel pipe to match the length of the original tips and had my local welder zap 'em together. I then had my local chrome shop do their thing.

I put factory style tips (except 2 1/2 instead of 1 7/8) on a 70 Dart with a TTI system. It was a lot of work as the tail pipe spacing was not the same and I modified both the tailpipes and hangers. It would have been a lot easier to just use tips with no hangers and live with the spacing.
