what fuel pressure gage will work with a carter carb

can anyone tell me what fuel pressure gauges would work with an old carter carb

and also what all will i need for the fuel pressure gauge to work ive never thought of buying one

Just put a in-line tee-fitting in the fuel line before the carb. The extra outlet of the tee should have thread provisions for a fuel pressure gauge.

Check out one of these. The fitting is basically just a tube that is spliced into the fuel supply line to the carburetor. The threaded portion of the fitting is where you screw in a pressure gauge. There it can read the pressure exerted by the fuel as it flows through the fitting.
