You could always look at their website to get a feel for what they do and their product quality. www.tcsproducts.comThat better be a stout 8" converter for that much money. That's pretty pricey for a 9.5" or larger.

I'd sure call PTC (I think they are in Alabama) The founder is a Mopar guy, sold the company recently, but still works there. (drawing a blank right now, I'm sure somebody will come up with it) (last name Ford?)I am happy to take other recommends for a new converter. These guys are in Canada and have a good rep. That being said, that is expensive as you state....and so I am happily willing to let someone tell me about a good B&M or other brand that will do the trick as well for less $$
My '70 Bee with 383, 3:23's, had a 2200 stall from the factory. Same as the Hemi. 2800 is hard to believe.2800 is about what the stone stock 340 converter was.
GER pops up as a source for Cummins stuff. Never heard of them 'til recently. And also just my opinion.... DONT buy a boss hogg converter! Their rep is almost as bad as GER.
GER is out of business. Has been for years. (Different GER?)My '70 Bee with 383, 3:23's, had a 2200 stall from the factory. Same as the Hemi. 2800 is hard to believe.

Alabama converter is out of business. I heard that was a good thing.
Well, he is in Canada. Till Trump takes it over, the prices are still high. LMAOThat’s what I was talking about. Diff Center sections from 1200-2000 depending.
Yes tcs is good. $1600 good for a converter on a street driven cruiser? I don’t think I’d do that, but maybe that’s just me
If trump actually imposes all these tariffs on countries like Canada it’s Americans that will suffer the impact and inflation will rise rapidly for you and unfortunately you’ll be paying the price of the tariff as internally America can’t meet the supply demands and will still continue to import what they need, but now the imported product will cost America more and that cost will inevitably be passed onto the end user/consumer. It’s not a good idea.Well, he is in Canada. Till Trump takes it over, the prices are still high. LMAO
It was a joke not intended to get a political discussion started. As far as converters go tcs is fairly high priced even as far as Canadian pricing goes. There are many cheaper options here that would serve the OP well.
Got it! I’m not very political either. Just leads to arguments even when you agree! lol. I do hope he doesn’t do it though as it’s no good for anyone. It was a joke not intended to get a political discussion started.
It's because of how the roller is ground. Their ramps are so much more aggressive, that you have to be careful when selecting, especially if you haven't much experience choosing roller cams. For instance, let's say you have a solid flat cam with 250 @.050 duration. That same duration in a solid roller would be a much, much more camshaft than the same size solid flat, if that makes sense.Got it! I’m not very political either. One another note in a different thread you mentioned you need "less cam" (at least when it came to lift) when using a roller to achieve high levels of performance. I’ve heard this before. Can you explain why? I think it was in relation to a magnum cam that was 108cl, 230/234, 501/513 and you referred to it as pretty stout….. I often see people using mid 500 lift cams in LA strokers and wondered why a low 500 roller in a magnum was near equal
I have asked. Hopefully they are, but if not I 'll be buying a set of TTiCall PTC in Alabama ,Kenny Ford 256-383-6868 . Those headers are for an A body ,correct ? Part no. ? Just asking they look like for a truck .My truck headers are that same design.
As it turns out they are for small block LA engines but for a 72-6 Dodge truck. I phoned Flowtech and since I am removing the current front suspension and steering and going with QA1 or AlterKation they are not sure if they will fit or not. I believe that i will have more room to work with and therefore more flexibility in header install options. We'll see when give the install a try.Call PTC in Alabama ,Kenny Ford 256-383-6868 .
