Working on a father and son restoration and starting to rebuild the wiring. Does anyone know what this is? It's not in the wiring diagram.
74 duster a/c car.
Thanks in advance.

Seat belt buzzer relay? There was a thread a few months ago about a similar piece, but I don't remember if it was the same part, or what the consensus was on it's purpose.

It's the actual seatbelt interlock box.
74 and newer. I think they went away at some point but I have a 77 b body with it also. And my 74 dart.

You can leave it and just leave the seat plugs under the seat unplugged. It'll kill the interlock requirement.

If you must remove it, there are 2 wires under the hood, running to another little interlock piece, that need tied together. I want to say yellow, and yellow/brown tracer.

If you Google mopar seatbelt interlock removal there is a article on BBodies on it.

Thanks guys. Got it figured out. Doing a little rewiring and trying to figure out what has to stay and what can be ditched. Found a hole section in the 74 body manual.
