I used to employ a neighbor once in awhile who was always looking for unskilled labor. He helped in the yard, building fence, etc. Then about five years ago, tragedy struck and he fell asleep at the wheel, killing an innocent person. He has been jailed ever since.
Today, while I was raking out front, some guy I did not recognize approached me while calling out my name a few times. It was my helper guy, real short hair and no longer super-skinny like I remembered him. It was quite a surprise and I am glad to see him back out (he has a daughter that I am sure has missed him, must be 14 or 15 years old by now). She is the girl with the doll in my youtube video:
