what kind of distributor is this?

-
X2 on it being an OEM style electronic if it matters. :D

Its possible it has had the mechanical weights tuned for a quicker all in advance?
The stock units can be tuned to run identical as a high performance aftermarket
distributor but they are not made to be as easy to setup.

X2 I have an Accel that looks almost exactly like a factory Mopar, and it COULD be an MP unit

I'm fixin to sell this motor and I wanted to be sure since this is my first Mopar hot rod. My other motor will have MSD

wounder which cap and rotor should I get .Just any with brass for bbm?I've got a banging problem and it's spitting plug wires off.

"I always thought" all of the factory Mopar electronic distributors had the hexagonal shaped adjustable vacuum canister. That one does not.

I think that might be the OE non adjustable type module.
I have run across a few of those, but I won't us them.

Might want to check the rotor to see if it's the MO300 or equivalent because the tip on them are .060 longer than stock and can hit the distributor contacts REAL easy.
Probably you won't be able to tell unless you line it up with the standard one.

As far as a cap I would just get the OEM but in black.

Looks different than the distributor on my big block.
