Hey guys, I am doing some upgrades on the 440 and need to know if I need to change plugs. I have been running RV12C for the longest time. But I am changing the heads and going with the 440 source stealth aluminum heads and going from a 600CFM to a 750 CFM Edelbrock carb. Should I change my plug choice and if so which ones would be the best. Thanks, Bill

“Most” stock BBM passenger car/light truck heads use 14mm x .375” reach, gasketed plugs with a 13/16” hex.

Most of the aluminum aftermarket heads use 14mm x .750” reach, gasketed plugs, with a 5/8” hex.

Like an NGK BCPR6ES.

NGK 5 heat range for general performance & drag racing. Alum heads conduct heat better than iron, so will pull more heat out of the plugs.
