what size tires, help please!

What I am doing is:
65 Barracuda
a body 8 3/4 rear
Cragar s/s
14 x 6 up front 4 inch? back spacing
14 x 7 in back 4.125 back spacing
going with BFG T/A's

What is the recommended size for this set up?

I would think 225 60 14s and 245 60s out back but I am a dart guy and that's from the hip ,depends on how your rear suspension is if your sagging that wont work

I may just go 225 60 up front 235 60 out back. what do y'all think?

60 series 14's might be a little 'short' especially depending on what your rear ratio is. Those are only 25" tall.

With a 3.23 axle,.......................70 mph is 3000 RPM

Stock was 165 90 13 and the 235 60 14 is almost dead on diameter 24.69" vs. 25.10 (1.65% under speed).

You will be fine with the 14 inch tires. 3.23 is what I run with a 205/70/14 and run the freeways.

I dig my 225/70 series tires on 14" also.
