Let me first give you guys a little run down on the car its a 62 valiant /6 turbo I'm planning on running a 833 OD trans with a 8.75 rear end

I'm in the process of moving the rear leaf springs inboard 3 inched and my problem is I'm not sure of the combo I want to run here are the options I have

1 super stock springs
2 caltrac setup with the SS spring
3 slider setup for the rear shackles or the standard shackles
4 pin snubber
5 drag shocks

If you had these options to choose from what combo would u select and please let me no why I have hopes of getting this car in the low elevens high tens and I have all the parts mentioned above
thanks
Aaron

i'd go caltrac set up with Calvert springs. the are a system the i only read good things about.

Interesting I did some research on the calvert springs they look sweet and the weight reduction is a plus as well what are people using they offer -1,0,+1 in spring height?

Thanks abodyjoe

How do you want the car to sit? I personally like my car low, so I would do the
-1. If you don't like how it sits, Calvert will exchange the rear segment of the springs for a different pair to get the desired ride height.

I thought I had read on here previously that the mono spring Calverts end up sagging after awhile as do the SS springs. What scares me is the almost $400 for the mono springs now.

I no I read a couple post on them and some of the guys quoted price at 289.00 and I went to there web site and there up to 379.00 what's up with that

Friend of mine is running Caltracks system on his 10.18 Duster. We love them. Any spring will settle a little over time.
