Curious if the original connectors had more sink aka more mass

kinda sucks the heat out when the lights on. if OEM was x mass(heavy brass) and new(coated ???) are x/2 (half as heavy) they would get much hotter. also think a "non conductive stiffener mount" may help like the circuit board spine in OEM
transferring heat to the body.
