What style of valve covers are you running with your six pack setup. I am sure most use the factory style covers. What are some other choices of valve covers? My biggest concern is what to do with the hoses that go from the air cleaner and center carb to the valve cover breather when not using stock valve covers.

on mine the hose from the center carb is vented into the atmosphered...not connected to the breather on the valve cover..

You can allways add breathers to the covers

I am on the fence trying to decide which covers to run, stock or aftermarket. I have a set of Mopar performance covers that have a place to cut out to add extra breathers. I could probably add a factory style breather to those. Anyone done this?

I did the same, and don't see that there will be a problem, unless you run into an inspector at the emissions station that does?! Ben.

I've got some vintage DC valve covers on my Demon, but I would think you'd be fine just leaving the hose off the air cleaner and using a breather that's vented from the bottom.......

I like those chrome valve covers. I remember when those could be bought brand new. That was back in the late 80's when I was ordering parts from P.A.W. warehouse out in california. Man that was a long time ago.

I would stick with a set of factory valve covers. 340 covers to be exact.
I like the fact that all the breathers will hook up as designed. The fact that they
have the plug wire holders. The right cover also has a channel, for the wires running along the intake. I also think, they just look right.

I agree with you Johnny Dart. I have looked around for those covers and had no luck. Plus they can be a little pricy sometimes. But at the same time I wouldn't mind having something a little more flashy to choose from also. Lol.

So an alternative would be a set of 70-72ish 318 valve covers.
The only difference woul be that they do not have the channel along the engine.
