While cutting grass today I ran over something. It was a buried intake manifold from a 292/312 y block ford. How It got where it was is anybodys guess.

I betcha the last time the grass was cut got the carburetor. Suggest you get out the shovel and look for the rest of the car!

LOL...

When I first moved into my house there was a mound on the side of the house, about 30 feet long by 8 feet wide. I had a guy with a bobcat come in to level out the whole yard, when he dug up that area he found:

- a queen sized bedframe
- a bicycle
- 2 truck tires (no rims)
- a metal door, complete with frame

You never know what you're gonna find when you start digging. ;-)

Wow, that's the strangest thing I've heard of being found mowing! A few months back when I mowed I found a 4 way lug wrench I lost 5-6 years ago when I changed the wheels on my Coronet, it was maybe half an inch under the dirt and grass, you could only see a bit of the end. Pulled it up and it was like new! Other than that all I've found is a few arrows I've lost over the years.

Good luck with finding the rest of the car!

You know you're a redneck... when you mow your grass and find a car.

When we moved into a new house when I was about 12 me and a buddy were looking around the woods (4 acres) and found a old stop sighn. Further in the woods we found a 54 chevy 2 door with no motor and a 2 foot wide tree growing in its place. We took off the grill teeth and sold them, the rest of the car was toast.

My dad ran over his foot with the mower once.
