68 Dart 340/727:66 Signet Vert 340/5spd: 68 D100
I'm just curious what my car would run in the quarter mile if I got the chance to race it. I would think low 12s would be very possible if I got a good 60ft time. I'll try to list most of the specs as far as I know. Oh yeah, I just got some mono-leaf Cal-tracs that I'll be using on my Dart but just to throw another wrench into the ET equation.
Motor
-68' 340 .30 over TRW pistons 10.1:1 compression ~410hp (don't have the dyno sheets) on pump gas
-Comp 292 cam 244 dur @50 .501 lift
-stock crank
-fully ported and polished J heads with large valves
-tti headers 1 5/8 to 2.5 X-pipes
-Eddy RPM Performer Intake on car vs. M1 I have
-650 Mighty Demon currently on car vs. prepped 750 Holley 3310 I have
-FBO ignition
Tremec 5-speed 1st gear is 3.27
8 3/4 rear with 3.91 and Detroit true-trac limited slip
MP pinion snubber
XHD springs currently vs. the Cal-tracs system in including shocks?
Frame connectors
255/60/15 drag radials
weight with driver and 1/4 tank of gas .... 3000-3100lbs I'm guessing
somewhere around sea level
Anything else to add? Thanks guys. Just trying to see if I need to prepare myself for a good neck snapping with this combo.
