What would you build?

I think it would have to be a '59 or '60 Buick. I know the fins aren't as cool as say a '61 Newport wagon but hey it's non mopar we are talking about.

I was getting really close to starting a restification on my '83 15th Anniversary Hurst Olds when the Mopar bug bit big time a couple of years ago.
By the way, my H/O is up for sale if anybody's interested. Original owner SoCal rustfree car with fresh pro-built Olds 403 replacement for the original Olds 307. PM me if any interest.

Couldn't imagine this situation but i'll play along.
A 1964 chevy 2 2 dr post with a punched out 283, 270 duntov cam with 11.5:1 jahns pistons. Gasser style. Hold on to your ***. Hell, I'd buy one tomorrow if i could find a good one.

A Ford. I had this HiPo 289 during a Mopar holiday. Maybe a 68 Mustang done like the Bullit car or a 64-65 Comet either one with a Stroked 351. I like the AMX's on the thread but if its not a Mopar I want a Ford.

I'd finally build the 428 Tri-Power (still have a manifold in my kitchen) 4-speed mid 70s Pontiac Sunbird I've been musing about for years. Then I'd spend a few more years trying to get the bleeping thing to hook up.

It Would Have To Be A Thunderbolt. 427 BB 4 Speed. A Friend Of Mine Did A Recreation Of One And Its Nice To Say The Least. Only Problem Is He Only Had A Stroked Out 390 In It. Still Sounded Mean.

I dont think the 69 Javelin was 390 HP i think that was cubic Inch, but i do like that choice, my neighbor had one when i was a kid, and it flat out hauled ***.

yea, what i meant was 390 High Performance (hp) but yea, ive got a buddy who builds amc's and ever since ive never looked down on them. He builds em pretty quick

I would like to try a 2nd generation pro touring camaro. Big brakes, small block stroker, 6 speed, trick suspension... I've always had a soft spot for those cars. (Split bumper of course)

Oh geez, here we go. 64 Ford Galaxy 2 dr, black, airbags. 66/67 Lemans or GTO, 67 Fairlane, 59 - 64 Caddy, Rebel Machine, AMX Javelin, AMC Marlin, 64 - 66 Mercury Comet, Buick Wildcat, Thunderbolt, Pontiac Acadian, etc etc etc.

somebody buy it before I get in trouble
BUT, I love Christmas (or is it the economy), it brings out the car deals:
