What's a 4 door 68 Valiant worth?

So this guy on my mail route has a real nice 68 Valiant 4 door I love looking at and driving around every day, and I hear he is probably selling it. It is splotchy red but looks like it might buff. I don't see any rust or even dings but I haven't been inside or under it. It has all the trim and a white interior (doubt it's great but it's also not a wreck). It's a running and driving /6 with a recently rebuilt 904. Basically all stock unmolested original. My wife would kill me but I think he's going to ask $1800 but would go $1500.
