Whats it cost to get a 8.75 rear shortened?

I see b body housings for around 1 to 2 hundred all the time. What does it cost to shorten the housings only?

It depends where you are. I am looking at a C body housing right now for $50.00 up in MN.

I think Currie out here in So. Cal used to narrow rears for $180, axles and all if you dropped it off. Now this was a WHILE ago so just call around. Sometimes axles are just as cheap buying new and having them cut to fit.

I paid 145 to have Moser shorten a C body housing and install perches, and 110 to have the axles cut and re-splined a couple of years ago. It's a good option if you can pick up the complete rear cheap enough. You can end up with big bolt pattern and the bigger brakes and still have the width perfect.

Depends on where you are. Here's it's $150 to narrow a housing. Another hundred if you want to shorten and respline the axles.

i have a friend that will narrow one for $100. but you need to get the axles done on your own.
