whats it worth- 1967 dart

Good luck cole...sounds like a pretty good deal if it has some goodies.
You didn't say if it's a running mover or not but assuming it is. It will def suck some money out of you though....lol

it runs... drive? well it drives around the yard he says, he said he hotwired it because all the dash stuff is stripped out. oh, ya definitely going to suck some of my money up, that's for sure.. I was focused on my 1968 but you got to do what you gotta do. lol

well, long day.... car was terribly rusted.... there was rust around the rear window and when stripped it was going to be holes..... the trunk lid and roof were bad and the floors and trunk were very bad ,even under the rear seat. It needed to full quarters, hood, trunk, trunk lid, full floor an and under the seat. The torsion bar cross member was also badly patched, I was going to get it for a parts car but the "340" turned out to be a 318, so the car was very bad, at first I offered $500 but he said $950 is the least but I just said $700 and call me and let me know if you decide to.... even if he calls most likely not even go there again, ride was terrible... on the way there, we took 8 and 30 all the way down and that was terrible, the roads were very bad.... we did see a 1969 dodge d100 and a old abandoned junkyard that was state property so most of been a repo ,but there most be hundreds of 50s,60s and 70s cars there... I will post up some pics soon... were going to call the town and see about it.... I was really surprised by the towns and streets in that part of ny, Poland, russia, rome, Delaware drive and spectacular. I've been all over ny but never there, very long day.....

From what i see and here...BUY IT. Hell parts alone are worth the money. Being from Canada you dont see them much for sale and never at a low price like that!

haha- ^ read above
I got your point but like i said im from Ontario, Canada. The last parts car i found cost me with flat bed close to $1000 non running and floor........well lets just say myself and a buddy just grabbed the front seat and pulled it out. No unbolting anything........many parts were sold here and some kept for my project. I ended up ahead, alot no. That wasnt what i was after. Parts needed for my self and parts needed buy others. Just saying thats all

okay, but wished I got pics because that needs a whole torsion bar cross member and the dash was replaced with a new style and cut up, it also had a fire and burnt the fire wall up bad.. I live in vt and even here definitely not worth anything

Thats a shame with all that. At least the wiring was good in the one i got. Pics help out alot. Thankfully i didnt have to travel to far to see the last one i got maybe a hour one way. That makes a big difference too, Sorry if i may have come off the wrong way, not my intention at all

That sucks. Always a bummer when you have to drive far away to find out you chased a turd. The guy could have told you the truth and saved your time. Live and learn.

Oh,no sorry we're. Good lol, ya he said he disnt know because he was a Chevy guy and couldnt bend down to look at it
Thats when you shouldve grabbed him by the back of his neck and slammed his face down just so he could get a closer look, then layed him down on the ground so he could view the underneath while you stood on his back...he knew...lousy bastard...then I wouldve asked for my gas money for my trouble or he was gonna spend the rest of the day in the trunk of said car...

it needs 2 lower quarter patches and front and rear floors, and trunk. the frame and inner fenders are super solid, roof ect.

if you have the parts time and equipment to fix those problems you have a nice base for a car. IF you are going to run under 10sec they will throw you off the track without a cage, so plan for that while you are welding. Also if you are putting down the power for a 10 or 9 second car it wont hook without nice slicks 12" or so and you cant do that without tubbs. So plan on that when you have the welder goin also. And sub frame connectors as well.
I think those are your plans that's why i'm sayin.

as it sits it's worth $1000. with perfect body probably 7k. if it's a running 340 those are worth somethin as well. (they are valuable especially to someone doing a factory restore that needs your specific block. where did the '71 challenger go, you should track down the owner)

not a bad find, especially if it's local to you :D

nvm lol

When I go to look at anything I never see it as a waste of time. Mostly because it was my decision to go look and I have no expectations based on what the seller tells me. But Jeez, it really sounds like he misrepresented this when you talked to him....it happens to all of us for sure. Look at it this way...you had a great day with your dad and scoped another possible buy.
