whats my lug pattern?

Okay this is going to sound like a stupid set of questions. I have a 74 dart custom 4 door. I thought I had 4.5" spacing on the lugs but that turned out to be wrong....after buying a set of rims.... anyway, what sizes would this dart have? I measure 4.25" but I was told that doesn't exist .. are they actually 4"?? And when I find out what size rims are good to have if I want wide tires in the back. The car is all stock. Im a little tired of my 195/75/14s....looks like something my grandma would use. Please help me out! Thanks!

They are either 5 on 4 or 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern.

You know the proper way to measure bolt pattern ?

I believe if it has factory front drum brakes, it could have the 4" pattern..............

Yup, you have a drum car and '74 was a wierdo because if you had all-drums, you had SBP. That sucketh!

Ma Mopar had a bunch of left over 4" bolt pattern parts and dumped them on the 73 through 76 drum brake A-bodies. Disc brakes in 1973 up were 4 1/2" bolt pattern.
