What's the best glue for console carpet surround?

What's the best glue to use to glue the carpet surround on a console? Thanks

I would go to a Napa and ask them for a strong all purpose adhesive.

3m spray adhiesive same as used on vinyl tops. contact cement. any auto zone.

I like the 3m general trim adhesive...

3M weather strip adhesive is sufficient. I used Velcro half way up the drivers side and across the front so I can peel it out of the way to change the light bulb in there, or whatever.

Hey, what about that stuff Elwood used on the motor home gas pedal in Blues Brothers.

I used contact cement but it started coming off and didn't fit as well in the corners as I liked. Ended up using push pins. since the carpet is dark blue and black push pins, you cannot see them and it holds it up well. If i need to take it off, just pull the pins.
