What's the best stuff to attach Louvers and wheel flares on my Dodge Aspen build?

Is it just 3M tape on the louvers and screws on the flares or are there any better techniques?

If you use 3M tape to attach parts be sure to use adhesion promoter. It really makes a difference in how well the tape holds.

That's what was holding that junk on my '77 Roadrunner. Car looked a lot better after I pulled them off and shitcanned them. Kept the rear spoiler though...

It's called Butyl tape. I used the 3-M version of it to attach the window louvers on my 76 Volare Road Runner back around 1980 after I painted it.
