Whats the best way to clean a convertible top?

Just wondering what the best way to clean a convertible top is.

Are there any types of dressings that need to be used? Is there something like Armorall that can just be sprayed on and wiped off?

It's a new top, but dirty from just sitting in the garage for a lot of years.

Mild soap and warm water and a soft scrub brush. Oh and just a touch of elbow grease!

No Armorall. I quit using it after being scolded by body/paint guys.

I use the creme style Gojo hand cleaner on canvas, vynil, leather, about everything.

Simple Green (diluted if the dirt is minor) followed by plain water (then dry) and a UV vinyl conditioner. Use a soft bristle brush like bama said above.
