Whats the difference????

be tween a bb truck oil pan ( rear sump) or an a-body pan ???? or will they inter change???:cheers: any thoughts or sugg. ?

All A-body pans must be center sump to clear the steering linkage.

so does any body have an idea where to find a cheap un rusted oil pan for an abody 400 bb

Try putting a want ad in the wanted section. Alot of guys look that over daily to sell parts.

look for a "187" or "402" pan. I think those are the two with the indent for the idler arm to clear. Otherwise you cant turn right very well...lol
