Whats The Valley Pan Mod?

Okay this is in a '64 Fury its running a 540 engine, and this is NOT a vacuum regulator where the valley pan is... so what is it? Oh its not a breather either.

It's probably one of those one way check valve vents for the breather.

well with your awesome pic i can tell you its an AN device of some kind... weither its a fitting or a rollover valve i dont know because you took a pic of the whole engine! not the part you want to know about...
