I'm new to the whole forum thing. Decided it's time to make an account after realizing how useful it's became with the current project.

I've already posted a question thread, hoping for transmission help. If you see this first and know anything about identifying what year a 904 is, please help.

Current project is a 1991 Dodge Dakota 4x4. It's a single cab, long bed (unfortunately), with a 360 out of an unknown motorhome. I'm converting it to 2WD but keeping the torsion bars. Plan on trying to get as close to 3,500 lbs or less as I can. I want to do a mild build on the 360, cam, ported heads, up the compression, intake, and maybe headers if I find some that fit. Curious to see opinions on the project, I don't expect everyone to love it, speak your mind, maybe I'll consider other good ideas as well.
