My new wheel cylinders came with a brass or copper washer in a little baggie.. There wasn't a washer anywhere I could see when I removed the old ones and lines.. Where's it go..?

A wheel cyl typically has a hard line attached to it, front cyl might have a flex line attached directly to it and that's the only place I can see needing a crush washer.

Accident - most British and euro cars use a straight thread with a rubber line into the wheel cylinder and use the copper ring to seal.
seems like i remember years ago, front drum hoses had washers on them. it may have been repackaged when it was rebranded.
Used on many front drum brake hoses.

Hmmm.. I really don't remember any washer when I disassembled mine... Strange.
If the end of the flex hose has a flared fitting and the cyl has a matching flare the crush washer is not necessary.
