Good morning,
Anyone know what's the biggest wheels and tires I can run on a 65 valiant 200 stock suspension.

I had these made by Stockton wheel years ago.
15x7 small bolt pattern with 215 front and 225 rear.
Rears rubbed with 4 adults on turns and driveways.

Mine actually rubbed the upper inner fenders on the out side and not the lip.
IF you go with a 15'' small bolt pattern and have them made Do Not have them reversed.
Mine were Chrome Reverse like the old days. A standard 15x7 like the factory Chrysler wheel with a 4 1/4'' back space fit like a charm. I ran those on a 64 Dart(up graded to big bolt pattern) Tire size was 235 60 15.
I believe you can get 15''aftermarket steel wheels small bolt pattern thru Jegs or Summit.

Got it, no deep dish or fat lip

Standard lip it is

Appreciate it

I run 205-70R14's on stock 5.5 rims. Plenty of clearance. Probably another size up from that. Pinch point is inner side before you hit the springs . Can't really roll the fenders but you can delete the trim lip and bend it up at a few points. Larger diameter tires approach the front corners, use 1/4" - 1/2 spacers at front hanger to move it back 1/4 and keep your driveshaft the same.

No dumb questions here. A bodies have a 5 bolt with a 4'' bolt circle like your 65.
That was from the early 60's to 1973 when they went to disc brakes that shared with the B bodies of that date.
5 on 4 1/2 bolt circle .
Chrysler also did disc brakes from around 1967 to 72 in small bolt pattern.
Now after 1973 A bodies that still had drum brakes had small bolt pattern till 1976.76 being the last year for the A body.

Thank you

I came across a ‘73 Duster that had factory front disc brakes big bolt pattern and 10” rear drums with small bolt pattern, it was early production. It came with a small bolt pattern spare .
Makes you wonder what we’re they thinking .

I have installed ‘73 - ‘76 front disc brakes with big bolt pattern my ‘66 and at the moment have small bolt pattern 9” drums on the 7 1/4” rear axle . I have a 8 1/4” rear axle with 10” brakes big bolt pattern ready to go in . Of course this means a new driveshaft also .

I have the 73 disk brake front with BBP and a 7.25 rear with BBP. Running 225/60/15 all around. Only problem was the front which I fixed with a torsion bar adjustment. Unfortunately I buggered up the lower front fender dogleg on each side from several tight turns. Looks to be an easy fix.
