Where have all the Magnum parts gone?

-
I'm hoping I can find an ac unit that will work with the intake I have, don't want RV2 and don't want something I have to have hoses made for, want some I can use factory 80s truck hoses on...
Fabricate some brackets from flat steel. I forget; are you trying to run the Magnum serpentine setup or the LA v-belt setup?

I wanted to run a whole LA front setup from T chain cover out.
I wanted to run something where I could run factory style hoses rather than the hose barb and clamp setup most custom ac setups run.
At work I see too many of the custom made ones with the barb and regular hose clamp that leak at the shop I work at we don't mess with those, mostly they are on buses that have the ac hung on by the bus company when new...
Besides those look like crap and I hate getting my wrists caught on the hose clamp tails while doing other work

Huh. I thought I'd send the "done" long ago
I know that I hit "reply" when I wrote that reply. But here today it was still "hanging" like an undone post

A few items I have been searching for:

MAGNUM HYDRAULIC ROLLER CAMSHAFT:
P5249663 (300hp)
P4876348 (380hp)

Comp cams have a grind that’s is super close to the 380hp.
The 300hp cam is a stock cam IIRC

HEAVY DUTY VALVE SPRINGS:
P4876062 (300hp)

Aftermarket springs will be ez to get

MAGNUM ROLLER TIP ROCKER ARM SET:
P5249800

Aftermarket units are cheaper

MAGNUM PORTED CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY:
P4876257
MAGNUM R/T CAST IRON CYLINDER HEADS:
P5007140
P5007141
P5007145

ALUMINUM MAGNUM CYLINDER HEADS:
P4876624

Unobtainable new unless someone has them under their bed.
Use Edelbrock heads instead

MAGNUM ROCKER ARM SET:
P4876050

Answered above- aftermarket
M1 DUAL OR SINGLE PLANE INTAKES

Hard to find anything…

The only intakes currently made are the chink knock offs of the also available Edelbrock rpm.

But keep your eye out for what may pop up in the want ads and swap meets. Keep your bank account fat for an instant press of the “BUY” button.

MoPar has discontinued most if not all the small block program in favor of the Gen 3 HEMI engines. They did this a good while ago.

I agree on the MP intakes. They don't seem to come up for sale very often.

You're not kidding-and when they do, not cheap. Saved search on eBay...though for the single plane, a Holley Strip Dominator is very close. (Rick Ehrenberg's exact words to me, "Flip a coin.")

Right. Basically no good reason other than putting the 300hp purchased in 1997 back to as shipped specs. I still have the blue crate for it. The 380hp version I acquired in early 2000’s is a “short block” now… the top end was sold years ago. I’d like to restore/rebuild both with MP products as delivered. I know- weird… but it’s nostalgia to me and a challenge.

Melling sells a stock replacement cam kit through Rock Auto.

The 80s compressor won't clear the Magnum intake?

The biggest issue is the 78-older large center of manifold, t stat.

The Magnum engines haven't been made for 22 years, plus, the MP pieces haven't been made for longer than that. There isn't much left.
So?
Look whats still available from the other 2 of the "big 3" even to this day...
And really Mopar hasn't come up with much that's better than these were... I'm just not into sensors, black boxes, plastic timing chain guides, and such...

Me either!

Trying to return "site feedback," but W T H is the "required" "deal url"?
Go to the thread of the item you purchased and click add feed back and the “URL” will automatically be added in. That’s the only way I know how.
