I give up, I went through my pics 10 times and can`t find it. It is the real deal, a 79.
The guy applying the decal probably smoked his lunch and buggered up the P and left it off, and it made it through QC. Probably really rare.

Here is a few of my guitars.
I have the sickness !
I have 8 4x12 cabs 4 2x12 cabs 1 1x12 cab.
Many effects A Bogner ecstacy head a Bogner Helios head, a modded Fender Bassman head, a Peavey Vtm 120 and a Boss Katana 100 head.

I thought I might see you here!

How old is that SG?

it’s a 72. One of the best playing guitars I’ve ever owned! Here’s my favorite guitar, another great guitar. It’s a Martin D18 Golden Era. I’ve taken it to a lot of jams, and it always seems to stand out above the pack. It’s clear, precise, and has tone to spare.

I mostly play the bass, and after over 30 years of playing bluegrass and Irish music, I’m back to playing in a rock band. I have an upright that has been my main instrument, but I did pick up this Stingray from my guitar playing buddy.

Now, if I can ever talk him into selling it back, here is a guitar I sold my buddy when we were just younguns. It is a 72 LP “fretless wonder”. Only about 83 of them made. I got to reacquaint with it over the holiday at his Ham&Jam, but currently he’s not ready to sell it back. It will come back to me, in time!!

a pic of me and my buddy, circa 1985, him with the LP and me with an old Kalamazoo that I EVH’d all up, and ruined a great vintage guitar! And a pic of the LP today!
