Where's Harold?? Spitfire Headers

Hi, I paid up front for 2 sets of headers (1 early / 1 late "A" body -July 31, 08) from Harold (Spitfire Headers). Is there anyone local to him?? So far no headers...and no returned calls over the past week or so. Maybe he's just on vacation??? Can anyone help????
Any suggestions????
 
Everythings cool. Harold called me tonight. The headers are "in work". and should be done in another week or two. I can't wait to get them fitted up.

I'll post a report once I get them.
 
Does Harold have headers for a 170? low deck 1966?
 
Hey Mike I'm still looking for one more of those ugglee 305 chevy manifolds to make you a set of duals but haven't had any luck here or there.

I also paid him up front for headers. I've been waiting 3 months so far. He always says "two more weeks". Car's been apart all this time waiting on him. He told me in September that I was first on the list. I finally left him a message asking for the headers or a refund. No answer. I can probably kiss my $225.00 goodbye.

When I talked to him originally, he said that I could save the $25.00 C.O.D. fee by sending the money up front. He sounded like an honest guy at the time, so I took him up on it. Like my grandkids say "my bad".

after all the trouble people had in the past your nuts not to spend the $25.
 
Is 479.474.1551 the number you reached him at? I want to order a set and as I understand it he waits till he has 10 orders or so. So if he is about to make some I want to get in on this batch!

You could always send me the money for the headers. That way, neither one of us would have the headers, but I would have my money back. All kidding aside, be very cautious and DO NOT PREPAY!
 
In the interest of fairness, after getting the District Attorney and others involved, I finally got the headers. Two weeks turned into four months. Don't make the same mistake as me. If you deal with Harold, DO NOT PREPAY.
 
Well buyer beware when dealing with that guy i'd say..tti's might cost a lot more but i had them in less then a week..:-D:-D
 
don't know why anyone would pay in advance when he offers COD and after all the problems in the past.
 
I didnt' need the sets right away. I figured I'd have to wait a couple of months. I'm at 4 months now. I talked to Harold last week. He said he was refunding 1 set, and sending out 1 set. We'll see.

Why prepay? saved $50 on 2 sets. well......if I get the sets.........

I'll report back, I havent' given up hope. I bet its just backlog issues.

But NOW I need the set!!!!!!!!!!
 
think you guys have to wait along time i sent money order in sept 02 and spent another 100.00$ on phone calls. what a jerk i wish rudy AR was closer to canada beware this guy is no good

Check my first post. I paid July 31, 08. Coming up on 4 months now. Paid for 2 sets up front. As of today? no headers, no refund.

I know he does batches, not continuous builds. Seems the squeeky wheels get the headers. :angry7:

last i saw that thief wanted like $700 for them.

easiest way to do it is pay COD. after all the threads that went around i can not believe anyone would send him money upfront.
 
You should seriously reconsider just exactly who it is you're calling a thief.

AND.......for the grossly un-informed post from the specimen above, our shorty headers go for $485.00......
