I have a 71 cuda (340) bellhousing, what should the tooth count, outside diameter, and the distance between the press. plate bolts be? I'm converting my 66 to a 4speed, is there anything besides the "conversion z-bar" that I'll need? I have a smallblock flywheel now that measures 13.5" outside, 130teeth, and 11" inside the pressure plate bolts.
Thanks in advance

The casting number on the bell housing will determine the size of the clutch assembly. You can have a 10.5 unit or a 11.0 unit. The flywheel will have its own bolt pattern,on yours it will most likely be a 10.5 unit.Post the casting number of the bell housing and we can go from there,if its a 11.0 unit, you can use the 10.5 unit still or upgrade to the 11.0 unit depending on power level, mrmopartech

2892 482 are the numbers I find

The setup I have with that casting bell housing uses a 10 !/2" clutch and a 130 tooth flywheel that measures 13 1/4" overall. The clutch linkage will be the main problem putting that in a '66 A-body. You'll have to make a bell housing bracket and customize a Z-bar.
