No Brainer here,

The Factory Cast Iron 4-Barrel.

The Edelbrock SP2P-318 is designed for a Motor Home and Truck. Small-Port runners, good for up to 4000 RPM's.

By no means is the SP2P-318 a performance intake. It was designed for improved emissions and better gas-mileage, and a little more low-end
torque for the low-revving 318.

Uh.............factory............

This. It's one of the predecessors to the Performer- meant to be an improvement over the 318 2 barrel intake and an alternative to the 360 2 barrel intake, not as an improvement over the factory 4 barrel intakes.

The small restrictive runners are meant for mileage. The intake came out during the gS crunch 35+ years ago.

The factory 4bbl. is a capable intake.
