Which one to Rebuild?

I have 2 transmissions for my 72 Dart w/318. Both are 904's and both need rebuilt. One ia a 68 and the other is a 72.
Is ther an advantage to rebuild one over the other?

the '72 should have the partial throttle kick down. or is that only 727's?
