Which power brake booster can I use

I’ve got a 69 dart

That I put brakes from a 74 Plymouth scamp on. Front and back disc brakes.
This has the lifted power booster

The power booster has a leak. I can hear it.
I either want to replace it or rebuild it.
Or can I use a substitute.

Rock auto doesn’t have the 74 power booster anymore. I can’t find one.
Other places do have the 76 duster booster. Don’t know if it will fit.

Doesn’t matter what goes on there as long as it fits.

Any ideas?

Last time I talked to them (about a year ago) if they didn’t have an exchange on the shelf you were looking at a 2 month wait.

They're currently at a 3-4 week turnaround on common basic ones, more time depending on the booster and any extra work (plating, etc.).
Shipping a couple oddballs to them on Monday.

Any booster from a disc F-body or late A-body should work. May not be "correct", appearance-wise, but function should be fine.

If you want to swap to the later (2-bolt, plastic reservoir) master cylinder, ask for a booster (and master cylinder) for a 79 Volare.

It’s been a long time since I posted on this.
I let the car sit for a couple of years while working on other projects. After a while. I sent the power booster out to cardone to have it rebuilt.

This is the 73-75 duster power booster that you can’t get anywhere.
They took a year to rebuild it. After that. I put some pressure in oreilly to figure out what was taking so long. So…..cardone rebuilt it and sent it back to oreilly.

Oreilly ……literally lost it. For 2 months now. They can’t find it.

So they ordered this kit for me.
Which I’m not really convinced.

I really want my original power booster back. But that’s not happening.

So…….i don’t care if it’s completely stock. As long as it works fine. The brakes in my 69 dart are 73 duster.

You’re saying a 79 volare power booster will work. The f body car. I’m fine with that. I can go that route. I waited long enough.

Or late A body.

I’m not even opposed to going higher end with this as long as I can get something quality.

My car has been off the road for long enough.
